I will be revising this page for the next couple weeks as part of Cyberlaw WikiProject. Freeheeling (talk) 07:25, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous Coward

[edit]

I moved the content of Anonymous coward to here, as it was effectively the same article. LiteralKa (talk) 04:14, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed changes to the page

[edit]

I feel that the page should be re-titled as 'Anonymity on the internet' and discuss (and link) in detail about the various components of the term.

For one it should also reference the Internet protection act: http://assembly.state.ny.us/leg/?default_fld=&bn=S06779&term=2011&Summary=Y&Text=Y

Anonymity section seems quite biased. Should have sections on how anonymity promotes free speech

Updated page

[edit]

With some disregard to my previous personal suggestion, I have decided to keep the article within the scope of 'anonymous posting' and added various sections and increased the number of references in the article.

Non anonymous

[edit]

I'd like to suggest that this article should be renamed as it is not talking about anonymous posting but rather pseudonymous posting. This is a critical distinction. Morgan Leigh | Talk 04:49, 15 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
