Connected contributor/COI

[edit]

The COI template on the article is due to edits by Andrei Codrescu1, who has not responded to a note about the edits, and who has edited since receiving it. I've left them a welcome note with an explanation of COI. I've also left a COI notice for Rohit Lila Ram, who showed up three days after Andrei Codrescu1 stopped editing. They've only edited this article, and their most recent edit removed the COI template. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 10:47, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Andrei Codrescu1's cumulative diff does not set off POV red flags for me, except that the user apparently wants to suppress the factoid that the author was born with the German name "Andrei Perlmutter".
I don't see this user as a "major contributor" except for adding a comprehensive list of works.
In Wiki articles, the List of Works section lists books without inline citing third party sources for each.
So conforming with that convention, we can just delete the inline sources that seem problematic (apparently the author's blog source announcing the publication of each book?). --Kiyoweap (talk) 03:14, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
