Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt Draft Submission
[edit]My name is Anna Hecht and I work for the article-subject Andreas Eenfeldt. I would like to help expand this page into a proper biography with an infobox, an early life section, etc. while complying with WP:COI. I put together a draft here that I think would dramatically improve the quality and completeness of the page. If a volunteer has time to review the draft and implement all or parts of it, it would be of great assistance. Best regards. AnnaHecht1993 (talk) 15:17, 4 November 2020 (UTC)
- Done. Sorry for the delay. --Guy Macon (talk) 12:18, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
Saturated Fat is Good or Bad?
[edit]I've examined the reference [2] for the following text and find (using Google and Bing translations) the meaning confirmed. But the meaning perversely contradicts, or at least does not support, the thesis the doctor/(entrepreneur?) is trying to present:
- ' He [Eenfeldt] has commented that "there is no good science to show that saturated fat is bad. I have been in contact with many experts but no one has been able to show me a single study that shows that it is dangerous, because there are no studies that show a reduced risk of heart attack and stroke." ' [emph. added]
The word for "reduced" in Swedish in the original is "minskad", and the internet agrees that that is what it means. One would expect the adjective to be "increased". Else the plain meaning of the text is the equivalent of:
- Saturated fat is safe because there are no studies (that I have seen) showing it to be helpful to reduce bad stuff.

The reference I used was the archived version. Its original could not be accessed. Perhaps the wording will have been updated? Because the original is either just plain weird, or I haven't had enough coffee this morning. JohndanR (talk) 14:26, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
He's saying there are no studies showing a reduced risk of heart disease from limiting saturated fat consumption. He's entirely wrong about this as many studies could be cited going back 50 years. He is a blatant science denier. Here is the actual comment from him:
"Då började jag läsa ännu mer och kom fram till att det är mycket mer effektivt att ta bort kolhydrater än att ta bort mättat fett. Det finns ingen bra vetenskap som visar att mättat fett är dåligt. Jag har haft kontakt med många experter men ingen har kunnat visa mig en enda studie som visar att det är farligt, för det finns inga studier som visar minskad risk för hjärtinfarkt och stroke".
Which translates to:
"Then I started reading even more and came to the conclusion that cutting out carbohydrates is much more effective than cutting out saturated fat. There is no good science to show that saturated fat is bad. I have been in contact with many experts but no one has been able to show me a single study that shows that it is dangerous, because there are no studies that show a reduced risk of heart attack and stroke."
