Carlito Caribbean... Cool?
[edit]Does this comparison with Carlito have a source good enough to be considered a nickname? I know there is a resemblance but it doesn't seem accurate. -凶 04:25, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Flopping
[edit]There definitely has to be a section about his flopping antics, because he has become quite notorious for it. E.g. [1] Rocky 16:24, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Looking at the history, some people have been trying to add this - even with citation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.155.85.240 (talk) 02:17, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
This DEFINITELY needs to be in this article. Omitting it presents an inaccurate picture; it would be like creating a Michael Jordan Wikipedia article and in the first sentence of the article, introduce him by saying "Michael Jordan was a former American professional baseball player in the MLB". Which is true, but would hardly be considered an accurate article or an accurate introduction to the individual. --98.188.197.222 (talk) 18:02, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Anderson Varejão. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/ian_thomsen/09/28/nba-flopping-david-stern/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}

Ring
[edit]Anderson gets a ring because he played for the cavs and warriors in the same year and both teams made it to the finals. The nba says he gets a ring no matter wins the finals. And that was the cavs Hawaiiankid (talk) 23:42, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Hawaiiankid: Please read this discussion for why your reasoning is inaccurate. DaHuzyBru (talk) 05:05, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
It turns out that it is optional (unlike pay bonuses for same), and Varejao has not requested a ring, and Cleveland has no plans to do anything if he does not request one. 162.205.217.211 (talk) 01:30, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
NBA champion in infobox
[edit]Please join the discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Basketball_Association#NBA_champion_in_infobox regarding whether the infobox should list him as being an NBA champion.—Bagumba (talk) 04:47, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- Per WP:NBAHIGHLIGHTS, the Warriors championship in 2017 is not listed in his inbox because he was not on their playoff roster, having already been waived midseason.—Bagumba (talk) 02:17, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
