Recent Bulgarian historians call her Ana-Neda. It is likely that "Ana-Neda" was born Neda, and when married to Mihailo, as a queen, she received the titular name Ana. I've reviewed the Gbook hits:
Ana[-Neda] (Cyrillic version used in both Serbian and Bulgarian sources):
Total: 70 |
Anna[-Neda] (Cyrillic version only used in Bulgarian sources):
Total: 47 |
Conclusion: The overall hits favour Ana-Neda (with a dash; 70 hits for Ana + a total 70 hits with dash), and scholarly use also support that variation. Moving to Ana-Neda, without "of Serbia/Bulgaria", and adding name annotation clarifying the names.--Zoupan 18:41, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
