Halnesbitt (talk·contribs) has been paid by the American Society of Nephrology on their behalf.
I can not believe that somebody has deleted the article about American Society of Nephrology (ASN) which a large not-for-profit organization of 11,000 physicians and scientists and publishes multiple internationally renowned medical journals. It is a prominent medical association and wikipedia already has articles about other medical associations. American Heart Association, American Lung Association. Everyone will agree that this is much more important than Mzoli's which has set a new benchmark. Mohit Agarwal (talk) 08:49, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
Request #1
I had noticed that a few minor details were out of date, so I edited the page, but because I am an ASN employee, this got the page flagged as a conflict of interest. Can an editor please verify the info (the only info I updated was the current president, past-president, and approximate number of members), and then remove the "issues" flag at the top of the article? The COI editor has not indicated which reference is to be used to verify the updated information, so that already-implemented change cannot be verified. As far as the image, that needs to be uploaded to Wikipedia along with the appurtenant use licensing before it can be added to the article. The COI editor may use the File Upload Wizard to accomplish this. When ready to proceed with the requested references, kindly change the {{request edit}} template's answer parameter to read from |ans=yes to |ans=no. Thank you!
