Alice Betto

[edit]

The intro to this page describes Alice Betto as an "unprofessional" triathlete based on an extremely closely cropped and viral video of an accident between her and Nicole van der Kaay during a September 3, 2023 race, which appears to show her deliberately barging into her teammate. This is an unfair and unchivalrous assessment.

Regarding the incident Nicole van der Kaay herself said: “This video does not show it all. This was an accident, unfortunately crashes happen in races. We pick ourselves up, lick our wounds and prepare for the next race. Mistakes happen, be kind.”

If I understood how to edit this page, I would. Blottomatic (talk) 00:37, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
