Ratan Tata, the famous group head of TATA companies has a beach house. I came to know about this when the Times of India reported in another context that the Tata management has been frequently seeking permission of Indian Navy for ferrying Ratan Tata on helecopter from Alibaugh to Mumbai.13:44, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Subzbharti (talk)

Kulaba Fort=

[edit]

I have changed the line.. "during low tide one can walk to the fort in waist deep water" as during the low tide, there is no water at all! Water recedes all the way behind the fort! In fact, I have never seen any where (and I have travelled a lot.. in 13 countries as of last count) where sea water recedes so much... ugkane —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ugkane (talkcontribs) 17:23, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

style

[edit]

the article reads like it was written by a 9-year old. it goes above and beyond in its use of redundant statements. i've tried my best to tidy it up a bit, but someone with actual information on the town needs to give this one a thorough once-over. just a mess.--87.171.92.204 (talk) 16:53, 20 March 2009 (UTC) a reminder: Wikipedia:WWIN Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style[reply]

Deleted places near Alibag

[edit]

I have deleted a major portion of the article as all the places are far away from the town also the mentioned beaches are different from the Alibag beach--sobarwikitalk 19:59, 28 August 2013 (UTC).[reply]
