Religious affiliation

Do we actually know that Alf Svensson belongs to the Church of Sweden? The Christian Democrats, especially in their early days (when he became active) had very close ties to the Pentecostalist Church (Pingstkyrkan) and Svensson himself came from a Pentecostalist family. I would have thought that he would be a Pentecostalist, but a quick Googling doesn't reveal anything.David ekstrand (talk) 12:13, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, it now turns out (https://www.flashback.org/t261615) that Alf Svensson at least in 2008 was a member of the Church of Sweden, but that he considered leaving as a protest against the Church's decision to have a ceremony for the blessing of civil unions.
