Year of death missing or unknown?

The instructions at Category:Year of death missing state "For individuals from past centuries whose year of death will probably never be precisely known, please use Category:Year of death unknown." It's likely that his death was in a past century (20th century), and the article clearly states that the "date of death unknown".

Would it be better to change the category to Category:Year of death unknown, or change the article to remove "date of death unknown" and hope someone will add the date (and a source) later? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 13:37, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
