– During a recent discussion, it was decided to use a lowercase 'c' for all articles about Latvian counties. I believe it would be consistent to apply the same convention to other defunct administrative divisions of Latvia, such as districts. the term 'district' should also be written in lowercase. - Support The arguments for the aforementioned move of counties largely applies here. There would need to be an exceptional case to retain inconsistent capitalisation between counties and districts, where the lesser division was capitalised. There is not such a case made.
