[edit]

According to Discovery Channel's Breaking Point episode "North Atlantic lobster boat", the AT-802 is the largest single engine water bomber... 76.66.193.119 (talk) 11:34, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Create new page for At-802U?

[edit]

Although the two are the same airframes (albeit with heavy modification) shouldn't the AT-802u have a separate page in the same way as the T-37 Tweet Jet-Trainer and A-37 Dragonfly COIN attack aircraft? They are essentially the same parameters for the creation of a different article. Lostend (talk) 04:31, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with this proposal particularly as the Archangel is now in service with the UAE Air Force. Mztourist (talk) 06:39, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Service with the Italian Protezione Civile

[edit]

The article lists 10 aircraft operating with the Italian Protezione Civile, but there's no trace of these aircraft being in service.

Besides, the Protezione Civile has been reorganized (long story) and aerial firefighting is now a task of the Vigili del Fuoco (fire brigade), all firefighting aircraft have had their markings changed accordingly. Anyway, there's no trace of any AT-802 operated by the Vigili del Fuoco either.

Therefore, I'm removing Italy from the list of the type's operators, until such time as solid information becomes available that the type is indeed in service in Italy. Rocknrollsuicide (talk) 12:11, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
