Waiver

"Indirect Imperial Tribute"
[edit]Sociologist Michael Mann in the cited source argues the dollar "exacts indirect imperial tribute," not the legislation itself. This criticism is of US dollar hegemony, and is only indirectly related to the AGOA, which does not impose anything Mann calls tribute on its own, unless I'm misunderstanding the source. 2601:402:4581:C500:BCBF:A021:CDB8:9DE0 (talk) 19:51, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
