I second for deletion. Does not match notability requirements -- 18:06, 28 June 2013 User:Phreed100
- Adam Koppy was one of the most influential designers of friction stir welding machines. The article was drafted on the day after his tragic death in a road traffic accident. It is now being edited to match the notability criteria. Please be patient for 10 days, while further references are being reviewed. --NearEMPTiness (talk) 18:29, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
Yes, and there is a list of other dead friction stir welders of dubious notability, as well as a long list of mechanical engineers. Wikipedia is not a place for obituaries — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.55.186.221 (talk) 22:53, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
- Dear User:Captainreiss: I noted that you inserted a previously removed template, by which you requested the deletion of the article, although text of this template says: "If this template is removed, do not replace it." I request that the article is either deleted speedily or kept without a template for 10 days, because the last thing wished for the relatives of a deceased, is getting aware of a Wikipedia discussion on "notability". Please ask a moderator to remove this article spedily, if you cannot wait for the article being improved. --NearEMPTiness (talk) 05:15, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- Dear User:NearEMPTiness, Apologies. I did not see the previous deletion request template in the history. Will look more closely in the future. Thanked you for the edit. tom (talk) 12:30, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
