"Indie"? I would call Ace more pop punk, or maybe post-punk revival. . . Jpers36 04:01, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know; do you think Madness and It's Never Enough are pop-punk? And sorry, I don't think I've heard post-punk revival.—thegreentrilby 04:05, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia

[edit]

In one of the Cody Banks films, there is a shot of Cody's bedroom. On the wall of his room, there is a vinyl cover of Ace Troubleshooter's self-titled album. If anyone can find which film this is in (either the first one or the sequel), and where in the movie this occurs, that would be awesome. Maybe we could fit it into this article somewhere as well. -EdGl 02:59, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't ever remember reading or hearing that Douglas was ever in Ace, substituting or otherwise.—thegreentrilby 02:10, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He filled in during an Ace/RK tour in 2001. You'll find some pictures here: [1] RoryS89 02:17, 31 May 2006 (UTC)RoryS89[reply]
And that was back when Ace was mediocre! All right, I believe now.—thegreentrilby 02:29, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I recently found out how tight Relient K and Ace were. It makes sense how Dave could fill in as a guitarist for Ace, and how John could fill in as bassist when Brian left RK. It was because they toured together so much. Of course, then John joined RK, my favorite band. As for Ace, I know a few of their songs, and I enjoy them, but I have the hardest time finding their CDs. But I'll find them someday. RoryS89 03:04, 31 May 2006 (UTC)RoryS89[reply]
Their latest three are on Amazon: [2], [3], and [4]. As for brick-and-mortar stores, well, I can't recommend any.—thegreentrilby 03:14, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I figured I'll have to order them online. I actually talked to John in an email, and he asked me if I had gotten an Ace CDs yet. I told him they are hard to find. So, I probably will have to order them online. But their first two albums are really actual albums available to the public are they? Aren't they independent releases? RoryS89 03:17, 31 May 2006 (UTC)RoryS89[reply]
They definitely are indie releases. My only suggestion would be to ask someone in the forum to either mail you a CD-R or cassette of them or post them online. In fact, I just found out on the forum that M4As of Don't Stop a Rockin' are on the official site!—thegreentrilby 03:57, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Cool, I'll have to check that out. Thanks. RoryS89 14:56, 31 May 2006 (UTC)RoryS89[reply]
