This article is younger and thematically the same as accelerating universe. It does appear to have more content by length, though a lot of the content here still needs to be cleaned up with regards to unusual formatting. I'd suggest that the useful new bits here be merged into accelerating universe. Dragons flight (talk) 20:31, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

metric expansion of the universe discusses the mathematics of expanding universes generally; accelerating expansion appears only as a special case. But this article is definitely redundant, and should be merged with accelerating universe. Sopholatre (talk) 21:03, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
