A corniche named after the mangrove east of Abu Dhabi Island

[edit]

A corniche named after the mangrove is mentioned in the given reference.

Construction started at the weekend and parts of the 90s-era Al Qurm Corniche, close to the Anantara Eastern Mangroves hotel, have been dug up to make way for the new lanes. Al Qurm – the Arabic for mangrove – is a popular leisure spot for residents.

Properly, Al means 'The' in Arabic, so Al-Qurm, which is written like this in Arabic (ٱلْقُرْم) means "The Mangrove". Leo1pard (talk) 04:42, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
