Structure

[edit]

Hi Sandstein, I disagree with your "undo" of the structure that I proposed. Could you please add one? You've done a great job starting the article and adding some information about one of the most recent and important celebrities and journalists killed during the Somali civil war. However, no structure (as it was and now is) is more "unhelpful" because visually there is no way for a reader to enter. If you didn't like the structure I used, then that's ok with me, but could you at least take a stab at making one for yourself and ordering the information as you would like! Another reason for me to return to the article later would be that the article as it stands now lacks a notability statement, which would make it easy for somebody to propose deletion. There are many other sources about him, too. I would like to see this article move beyond stub status. But I like the direction you are going so far and please keep up the good work. I totally understand if you're in the process of developing the article further and need some time to do that. I don't know where you are in the process. So if I write about things that you're already planning to do, my apologies to you. Thank you for all your efforts and contributions. I'll check back later. I saw that you added the category from the previous undo move, but would you please also restore the see also section? Thank you, Crtew (talk) 17:06, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done, though in general I don't think that articles as short as this need sections at all.  Sandstein  19:04, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have no problem, of course, with you or others expanding the article (and adding sections as may be needed to structure the additional text). I've also taken the liberty of editing your article, List of journalists killed during the Somali civil war, so that it conforms more closely to our style guide, WP:MOS and WP:MOSLIST.
