The competing visions

An anonymous IP editor objected to this section on the grounds that it was opinionated and unnecessary. To respect NPOV, we must keep editor's opinions off the page. But this page needs to accurately present Sowell's opinion as argued in the book that this page reports. Thus it is necessary. (But I am open to other ways to organize the page.) Book Revisions
