WPMILHIST Assessment
[edit]Okay, so this page was just created, and you're off to a nice start. Presumably you're intending to come back within the next few hours or days to flesh it out. Nevertheless, as it stands at this moment when I happen to have dropped in to assess it, it is lacking an introduction, references, and a number of other sections, though I like those section-expand templates which help dramatically to show the reader where things are omitted. Thanks for a promising start, and assuming you come back to finish the job, thanks for that. LordAmeth 20:41, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Possible move
[edit]Although WP:MILMOS#UNITNAME generally calls for a unit page to be the last name by which a unit was known, it appears in this case "the subject is clearly more commonly known by one of the previous names." The unit was never active under the division designation. I proposed moving the article to 50th Troop Carrier Wing. I'll wait a week or so to see if there are any comments on the move. --Lineagegeek (talk) 14:21, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
- There seems to be no objection. It'll be moved --Lineagegeek (talk) 16:38, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
