Lead

[edit]

Background

[edit]
  • "The FA brought the kick-off time an hour earlier" - brought forward
  • Put The Football Association's acryonyms in brackets after the first time it is mentioned

Pre-match

[edit]
  • "he noted they had kept the spine of their team" - could you clarify what is meant by this phrase by rewording it to encyclopedic language?
  • "Conte confirmed Eden Hazard and Tiémoué Bakayoko were ruled out of the match with injuries and confirmed Victor Moses would play;" - repetition of confirmed

Team selection

[edit]
  • "he officially took over responsibilities from John Terry in July." -the responsibility

Summary

[edit]
  • The article would be better off if you wrote that the stadium observed a minute's silence for the Grenfell fire victims.
  • On second thought, disregard as I have just found out the meaning of moment of silence and it is the same as you have written in the article.
  • "The defender was taken off and replaced by Kolašinac," - mention the head injuries as you have done in the first image in the sub-section.
  • " when he went to ground in the penalty box after a challenge from Héctor Bellerín." - fell to the ground
  • "a late challenge by Pedro on resulted in the Chelsea attacker being shown a red card." - this sentence doesn't say who Pedro callenged on the Chelsea side that led to his red card.

Post-match

[edit]
  • "describing victory as" - the victory

That is all I found during my read-through. On hold. MWright96 (talk) 06:56, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@MWright96:, have made corrections, thanks for the review. Just one issue with the Grenfell fire in the summary, could do with clarifying here. Lemonade51 (talk) 18:11, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Lemonade51: See my above response. Apart from that, this article is now at GA status. MWright96 (talk) 19:00, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
