http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/tournament/competition/2010fwc-qualficationformat-oceania-v8-e%5f16466.pdf this page shows that there'll be a 3rd round between top-two teams of 2nd round. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 220.173.20.46 (talk) 12:57, August 23, 2007 (UTC)

  • It's does indeed say that in pretty much black and white - although it contradict what the OFC said just last week. Weird. Note also that the main page that links to the document also says something different - so who knows! Jlsa 06:40, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • I cannot find anything on the OFC website regarding the qualification structure. The FIFA "Qualifiers" page does not mention a third round, but it also no longer says the winner of round 2 will go on to play the AFC. I think it is appropriate to assume the PDF file is correct. There will be a home and away knockout between the winner and runner-up of the OFC Nations Cup. Altordwm 14:22, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Caledonia

[edit]

New caledonia may be the first team not a nation to make it to a world cup.If they win the OFC Nations Cup. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cokepepsi (talkcontribs) 01:05, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Top scorers?

[edit]

The other qualification tournament pages all have "Top scorers" sections - about time this page did too? Grutness...wha? 12:30, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The issue is how to do it? If we count the South-Pac games, do matches against ineligible Tuvalu count - I'd say yes, because losing to them would affect other teams' chance of qualifying. However, this highlights the fact that to do so would probably fall under "original research" (I avoid referring to policies in the form WP:OR without spelling out the full name) Blackjack4124 (talk) 07:12, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect

[edit]

Should the page not be the 2008 OFC Nations Cup with 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification (OFC) being a redirect? 76.69.122.250 (talk) 14:40, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

goalscorers

[edit]

There's a discussion in the CONCACAF section where someone wants to change the format of all goalscorers including this page and other confederations. In case you want to take part in the discussion before the tables here are changed, please have a look. goalscorers Vorlath (talk) 19:44, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
