Wouldn't it had started in August when SE QLD and SE NSW (including Sydney) seen the first bushfires (3 in NSW IIRC had Section 44's issued and an emergency was declared for one of the QLD fires) and not November? Bidgee (talk) 10:26, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've done more research and learnt of when given regions experience their peak bushfire seasons. The entire season usually extends from June 2009 to May 2010, for example. Have made appropriate changes here, yet to make them in other national season articles. Nick carson (talk) 01:57, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
