Dates

[edit]

I assume that the (+ date) bit is the date of death, am I right? Why are these dates not linked?

Authors

[edit]

If you are adding the birth/death of an author, should it go here as well as in the literature section or only in the literature section? ledgerbob 17:38, 21 Dec 2003 (UTC)

I don't think there are any rules, but authors should probably only be placed on the main year page (i.e. here) if he's really big -- Shakespeare, Joyce, Orwell, etc. Most authors should just be on the literature page. Tuf-Kat 17:45, Dec 21, 2003 (UTC)

Year in topic

[edit]

The year in topic layout on this page is one of three versions. I seek opinions before making them all the same; see comment on my talk page BozMo(talk)I love you From hanonn rutia and rina.

Ilinden Uprising and the ethnicity of Gotse Delchev

[edit]

The Ilinden Uprising was a uprising of the Bulgarians in the region of Macedonia and Gotse Delchev was a Bulgarian revolutionary from the Bulgarian organisation IMRO These two links are proves for that : http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Gotse_Delchev http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Ilinden%E2%80%93Preobrazhenie_Uprising NO nAmE BG 10:52, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Removing of the information about Gotse Delchev's death

[edit]

The removing of the infromation about Gotse Delchev's death is irrelevent because there is at least 1 case in which one name is in the events section of the article and in the section "Deaths" at the same time! If such cases are going to be removed - they shall be removed all not just one! That is why I'm reverting the article into its previous state!NO nAmE BG 10:37, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

We do not usually list a person's death in the "Events" section, only in "Deaths" — unless of course the death itself is notable enough to have an article in its own right, e.g. John F. Kennedy assassination. The fact that there exist other similar entries is not a reason for keeping a specific example. Favonian (talk) 22:12, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ohh really?!And what is notable about the death of the Serbian King Alexander Obrenović and his Queen?!The death of Goce Delchev is the main reason that the Ilinden Uprising broke out so soon and so unprepared that is why it ulimately fail! And because the Ilinden Uprising fail the Balkan Wars broke out and after that the active role of the Balkans in WW1 and WW2!! The region of Macedonia was ans is still one of the few things that can trigger war on the Balkans!! I call this notable! I will revert the article back and if you again re-revert it without any solid reason or explanation I will erase the information of the Serbian King!! [edit]

To the user with IP 62.162.217.3 : I'm reverting the article back to its previous state because your change is irrelevant!! You didn't post any arguments for a change on the discuss page because of that your change is not unimportant! And something else - your redaction is incorrect information!!Wikipedia is not a place for communist propaganda!Everytime redaction is made by you on this article I will be here to revert it!
