Spring Village is a location in the Telford and Wrekin borough in Shropshire, England.[1][2] It forms part of the Dawley Hamlets civil parish alongside Aqueduct, Doseley, Horsehay, Lightmoor and Little Dawley.[3][failed verification] The village was first mentioned in 1754 and 1757 when it was associated with the Horsehay Ironworks.[4][failed verification] It later developed around the Industrial Revolution and the-then new town of Telford in the 1960s and 1970s.[5][failed verification] It once had its own chapel but this closed in 1968 and it is also home to the Telford Steam Railway, which also has a station named Spring Village.[6][failed verification] The village is primarily residential and industrial.[7][8][failed verification]

Horsehay and Spring Village conservation area, also referred to as Horsehay conservation area, was designated in 1999.[9][10]
