Sharafkhaneh (Persian: شرفخانه)[a] is a city in the Central District of Shabestar County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Sharafkhaneh is situated on Lake Urmia.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 3,872 in 1,132 households.[5] The census in 2011 counted 3,585 people in 1,133 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 4,244 people in 1,446 households.[2]
