Sabato De Sarno is an Italian designer who was the Creative Director of the fashion house Gucci between 2023 and 2025.

Career

Born in Naples, De Sarno started his career with Prada in 2005. He later worked for Dolce & Gabbana and, from 2009, as Director of men’s and women’s collections at Valentino.[2][3]

In 2023, De Sarno was appointed Creative Director of Gucci[4], marking his first role as the creative head of a major fashion house.[5] His debut collection for the Italian luxury brand was presented at Milan Fashion Week in September 2023.[6]

De Sarno's tenure at Gucci concluded on February 6, 2025, when the company announced his departure from the Creative Director position.[7]
