Rohini Acharya

Rohini Acharya (born 1980) is an Indian politician, Rohini contested the 2024 Indian general election in Bihar, representing RJD from Saran (Lok Sabha constituency).[1][2][3] But she lost the constituency against Rajiv Pratap Rudy of BJP by the margin of 13,661 votes.[4][5][6][7]

Early life and education

Rohini was born in 1980 to Lalu Prasad Yadav, ex Chief Minister of Bihar, and Rabri Devi.[2]

She is a graduate professional and completed her education with a degree of Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Ranchi in 2004.[8] She got her MBBS degree from the M.G.M Medical College, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.[1][9]

Personal life

Rohini married a Singaporean software developer Samaresh Singh in 2002 and they have two sons and one daughter.[1]
