Qosabeh (Persian: قصابه)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Qosabeh District in Meshgin Shahr County, Ardabil province, Iran.[2] As a village, it was the capital of Meshgin-e Gharbi Rural District.[5]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, Qosabeh's population was 2,110 in 488 households, when it was a village in Meshgin-e Gharbi Rural District of the Central District.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,152 people in 592 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population as 2,095 people in 662 households,[3] by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the formation of Qosabeh District. Qosabeh was elevated to the status of a city in 2012.[2]
