Notes

[edit]
  1. ^ After a candidate has fulfilled a doctorate program in chemistry in China, accredited universities and colleges award a Doctor of Science degree instead of a Doctor of Philosophy degree in accordance with the national academic discipline classification catalog. On Qiu's personal website, he wrote PhD instead of DSc for waiving confusion in international communication. However, there is only Doctor of Science degrees in chemistry awarded in China.
