Nahr-e Jadid (Persian: نهرجديد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Abshar Rural District of the Central District of Shadegan County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[4]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,124 in 204 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,615 people in 380 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,435 people in 330 households.[2]
