Mudhar Club (Arabic: نادي مضر) is a Saudi Arabian football club based in Al-Qudaih, Qatif, Eastern Province and competes in the Saudi Second Division, the third tier of Saudi football.[1] The club was founded in 1970 and consists of various other departments including table tennis, volleyball, and basketball.[2] Mudhar is also known for their handball division which is one of the most successful handball clubs in Saudi Arabia.[3]
Mudhar have competed in the Saudi Second Division on 4 previous occasions, most recently in the 2000–01 season. During the 2022–23 season, Mudhar won their first ever Third Division title and earned promotion to the Second Division for the first time in over 20 years.[4]
The club was founded in 1970 as a merger between two clubs, Al-Wehda and Mudhar Club.[5] The club's first president was Ali Al-Qudaihi and its current president is Adel Al-Setri.[6]
