Mojisola Lasbat Meranda (born 16 August 1980) is a Nigerian politician and the current Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.[1][2] She has been the lawmaker representing Apapa I constituency since June 2015.[3] Meranda was sworn in as speaker on 13 January 2025 following the impeachment of Mudashiru Obasa over allegations of gross misconduct and abuse of office.[4][5][6][7]
