Madison Marsh of Colorado crowned Abbie Stockard of Alabama as her successor at the end of the event.[2]
Background
[edit]New eligibility rules allow transgender entrant who have fully completed "sexual reassignment surgery" a year prior to competing.[3] Other usual rules apply to the 2025 part of the Miss America Pageants.[4]
Ballroom dancing and cheerleading utilizing "human props" has been added as potential talents. The partner must be dressed in all black and cannot perform any solo parts.[5]
The Miss Puerto Rico pageant has also been reinstated after last competing in 2017.[6]
