Miri O'Donnell (born August 1, 2006) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Portuguese Campeonato Nacional Feminino club Sporting CP.

Early life

O'Donnell grew up in San Ramon, California.[1] She is partly of Japanese descent.[2] She played youth soccer for teams including Mustang FC, FC Bay Area Surf, and MVLA Soccer Club.[1][3] She played for San Francisco Glens in the pre-professional USL W League in 2023, scoring four goals in four games.[4]

Sporting CP

O'Donnell signed her first professional contract on August 14, 2024, joining Portuguese club Sporting CP on a three-year deal.[2] She had previously committed to play college soccer at Wake Forest.[5] On November 16, she recorded her first goal in the Campeonato Nacional Feminino, scoring the last goal in an 8–0 rout of Albergaria.[6]

International career

O'Donnell was an alternate to the United States under-17 team that won bronze at the 2023 Pan American Games.[1]
