In metaphilosophy and ethics, metametaethics is the study of the nature, boundaries, and methods of metaethics. Metametaethics is most closely associated with the work of James Dreier.[1][2]
Description
[edit]Whereas metaethics investigates the basis and meaning of ethical terminology, metametaethics investigates the basis and meaning of metaethical terminology. Example questions in metametaethics include why metaethicists disagree on fundamental questions and how to strictly delineate between views in metaethics.
