Mehdi Fard Ghaderi (Persian: مهدی فرد قادری; born 1986) is an Iranian director, screenwriter and producer[1] He is known for his films Immortality (2016), Weightlessness (2019) and The Annoyed (2023).[2]
His first feature, Immortality (2016), which was created in a single 145-minute shot, has been presented at more than Twenty Festivals around the world including the Rome Film Fest, Munich Film Festival, Transilvania Film Festival. This film received several international awards.[3][4] His second feature Weightlessness (2019) was created based on long shots and shown in Fifteen International Film Festival.[5][6] His next feature, The Annoyed (2023), premiered at the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival.[7] The Annoyed was screen in Twenty-five International Film Festivals, Including; St. Louis Film Festival[8] and kerala Film Festival[9] Also, Won some Awards.
Career

[edit]Immortality (2016), First feature film, was created in a single shot in 145 minutes on a train. This film was nominated for best film at the Rome Film Festival, Munich Film Festival and Transilvania International Film Festival.[10] Also Shown at twenty international festivals[11][12] Immortality won several international prizes, including Best Film at the 16th Ischia Film Festival,.[13][14]
Weightlessness[15] (2019) Second feature film and based on Long Shots. This film was shown in fifteen international film festival and It has won some awards in Europe and North America.
The Annoyed (2023) Third feature film. The world premiere of this film was in main competition 25th Shanghai film festival 2023.[16][17]
Mehdi Fard Ghaderi was producer of the film The Son in 2021.[18] This film has won prizes at the Moscow Film Festival,[19][20] and was shown in at the Rotterdam Film Festival and Valladolid Film Festival.
