Masanori Miyamoto (宮本昌典, Miyamoto Masanori, born 3 February 1997) is a Japanese weightlifter.
Career
[edit]He won a gold medal at the 2023 Asian Weightlifting Championships held at JinJu, South Korea. He also won the bronze medal in the men's 73 kg event at the 2020 Asian Weightlifting Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.[2] He represented Japan at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He competed in the men's 73 kg event.[3]
In 2018, he competed in the men's 69 kg event at the Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia.[4]
In August 2024, Miyamoto competed in the men's 73 kg event at the 2024 Summer Olympics held in Paris, France. He lifted 338 kg in total and placed sixth.
