Marcel Ruszel (born June 21, 2004) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Polish club Stal Stalowa Wola.
Early life
[edit]Ruszel started playing and watching football with his father at a young age.[2]
Club career
[edit]In 2021, Ruszel almost joined the youth academy of German side 1. FC Koln, but the coronavirus pandemic hindered the transfer.[3] In 2022, he joined the youth academy of Italian Serie A side Torino, where he was regarded as one of the youth team's most important players.[4]
On August 27, 2024, Ruszel joined Polish second-tier club Stal Stalowa Wola.[5]
International career
[edit]Ruszel represented Poland internationally at youth level, helping the under-16 team win tournaments in Israel and Finland.[6] In 2022, he switched his allegiance to the United States.[7]
Personal life
