Mah Neshan (Persian: ماه نشان[a] is a city in the Central District of Mahneshan County, Zanjan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4] It was the administrative center for Mah Neshan Rural District[5] until its capital was transferred to the village of Sarik.[6]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 4,495 in 1,119 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 5,439 people in 1,422 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 5,487 people in 1,626 households.[2]
