LohArano is a musical band from Madagascar. It music is a fusion of metal, alternative rock, groove, punk and rap. They describe their music as a 'merge of rock and Malagasy ternary rhythms joining the big sound of rock and metal'[1]. The name 'LohArano' means the Source, which is the origin of all inspirations for philosophy1.
The trio is led by Mahalia on lead vocals and guitar, Mika on bass guitar, and Natiana on drummer. They have at least 4 albums, titled Devl, Lohamboto, LohArano and BaeNoisy [2]. They have been active since 2016.
