Little Village is an independent, alternative, magazine focused on news and culture in eastern Iowa.[1] [2]

History

[edit]

It was founded in 2001. Notably, the magazine is distributed for free thanks to their entirely ad-supported[3] status in coffee shops, restaurants, and "lots of mechanics and auto dealerships."[3]

In 2021, Little Village expanded distribution from the Quad City, Cedar Rapids, and Waterloo region to include Des Moines[4], and in 2024 to the Dubuque area[3].
