LIFE Industries (often stylized as L.I.F.E. Industries) is an independent record label founded by American rapper and singer Kiuoro in 2023. The label, which is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, currently holds eight acts all of whom are natives to the city, the roster consisting of Kiuoro himself, Del Bandzz, Guapo Aaron, Dexntae, and Heem. With the collective/record label LSD also signed, featuring Jupiter, Titan, and Ananke.[1][2]
History
[edit]Foundation and Early Years (2023–2024)
[edit]In August 2023, Kiuoro founded LIFE Industries as a subsidiary of Davis Records, aiming to create a platform for underrepresented artists from Pittsburgh. In an interview, he stated:
"I want to bring the art back to the creators, and that's what I intend to do. Using my marketing skills and understanding of algorithms to help local artists from my town, with less of a platform. Giving them opportunities I never had."
Within the first month of its establishment, the label signed Del Bandzz and Guapo Aaron, two of Kiuoro’s longtime collaborators. Over the following months, the label expanded its roster, signing artists Dexntae and Heem, solidifying itself as a home for rising Pittsburgh talent.
iH8RAP
[edit]On September 16, 2024 Del Bandzz's released the first project for LIFE Industries called "IH8RAP."[3] With an 8 song track list. Only featuring other artist from the label, such as Kiuoro, Guapo Aaron, and Heem.
LSD Inc.

In September 2024, the label partnered with Jupiter and Davis Records for a joint venture called LSD, to create a record label/collective of genre-bending artist and producers. Signing two Pittsburgh native artist Titan and Ananke, in December, right before the year ended. Titan has an upcoming debut mixtape expected in early to mid 2025.
