Origin

[edit]

The rulers of Hathras and Mursan trace their origin to the famous rebel leader Thakur Nandram of Thenua Jat clan who rebelled against the Mughal Empire in 17th century in the region of Braj i.e. Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan.[1] From his son, Raja Jai Singh, the royal family of Hathras claims the origin and Raja Zulkaran Singh was the founder of Mursan royal family.[1]
