John Ward is a Scottish businessman who is the current chairperson of professional football club Livingston.
Career
[edit]In 2009, Ward was running Scottish supply chain solution company Fasteq, having been appointed Chief executive officer in May 2000. Within three years, he had sold the business and started a small Edinburgh based brewery called Krafty Brew.[1]
Ward became involved with assisting Scottish club Livingston with their financial affairs in 2016, before being appointed as a director the following year.[2][3]
He was appointed CEO of the club in 2016.[4] He held the position until June 2023, when he moved into the role of chairperson with Dave Black being appointed his successor as CEO.[5][6]
Personal life
[edit]In July 2024, Ward was accused of being threatening and abusive by a 47 year old woman during a phone call.[7] He was later cleared of the charges.
