Jesús Fortea Tejedo (born 26 March 2007) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a right-back for Real Madrid C.
Early life
[edit]Fortea was born in Albal, Spain on 26 March 2007 to Jesús Fortea Sr, who worked in transport, and Isabel Tejedo, who worked in administration.[2] A native of the Valencian Community, Spain, he started playing football at the age of four.[3]
Club career
[edit]As a youth player, Fortea joined the youth academy of Levante. In 2019, he joined the youth academy of La Liga side Atlético Madrid at the age of twelve. Three years later, he joined the youth academy of La Liga side Real Madrid.
International career
[edit]Fortea represented Spain internationally at youth level. At the age of fourteen, he played for the Spain national under-16 football team and played for the Spain national under-17 football team at the age of fifteen.[4] Subsequently, he played for the Spain national under-19 football team for 2025 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification.
Style of play
[edit]Fortea plays as a right-back and is right-footed. Spanish newspaper Diario AS wrote in 2022 that he is an "explosive right-back, very fast, with fantastic one-on-one skills and a magnificent dribble".[2]
