Personal life

Jaya Kishori was born on 13 July 1995 in Sujangarh, Rajasthan, into a Gaud Brahmin family as Jaya Sharma. She has a sister named Chetna Sharma.[4] Her parents, Shiv Shankar Sharma and Geeta Devi Haritpal, raised her with spiritual teachings and religious lessons, which cultivated her deep interest in spirituality. She started her spiritual journey at the age of seven.[5]

Kishori started singing at the age of nine and mastered various spiritual hymns like "Lingashtakam", "Shiva Tandava Stotra", "Madhurashtakam", "Shiva Panchakshar Stotram", and "Daridraya Dahan Shiva Stotram". Under the guidance of Guruji Govind Ram Mishra, she began reciting the Sundarkand Path, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, and other religious texts.
