Early life

[edit]

Born in London to two accountants, he spent a gap year at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and was involved in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.[3]

He was educated at Harvard University,[3] where he studied English literature, languages, and theatre.[4] He started his acting career at the age of 20.[5]

Career

[edit]

Cutmore-Scott played the role of Rufus Saville in the 2014 film Kingsman: The Secret Service. In 2016, he played the title character in the television series Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life.[6][7]

In 2018, Cutmore-Scott played disgraced illusionist/magician-turned-FBI consultant Cameron Black following an illusion that goes horribly wrong in the new ABC murder-mystery series Deception. He also portrayed Cameron's incarcerated, identical twin brother Jonathan. To prepare for these roles, he worked with magicians David Kwong and Francis Menotti to learn how to perform the magic tricks on the show.[8]

As I try to imagine all the ways in which my life will never be same in just 6 short weeks, I wanted to thank all the people that reached out after I posted about our very early loss last October. I can't express to you what a difference it made for me to hear all your extremely personal stories. It truly gave me the hope that I needed and made me feel so much less alone. To all the friends and strangers who reached out to offer support- Thank you. Your generosity helped me. It made a big difference. Im sending all my love to anyone dealing with pregnancy loss at any stage. Know that as unique and singular as your reality might feel, there is a world of people going through the same thing, who want to share and connect and ease the pain. You are truly not alone. I'm paying all the strength that I received forward to you, for your rainbow after the storm.🌈 📸by @isaiahandtaylorphotography"".
