English: In spite of much searching, I haven't found the name of the photographer, nor any direct attributes to the photos origin. The Father died March 17, 1940 at age 48. On March 16, he gave a fellow cleric "a recent photo of himself that he had taken saying: 'You can have it in the files in case you need it' ." (see Joan Brooks. 1997. Desert Padre. Mesquite Press. p 365.) One possibility.
