Family Matters (Korean: 가족계획) is an upcoming South Korean thriller television series starring Bae Doona, Ryoo Seung-bum, Baek Yoon-sik, Lomon and Lee Su-hyun. It is a brutal and cruel thriller about a woman who received harsh training in an unknown facility as a child, escapes the facility, and lives as an ordinary family member, but encounters cruel villains and punishes them with even more cruel and strange abilities. It is scheduled to premiere on Coupang Play on November 29, 2024, and will air every Friday at 20:00 (KST).
Synopsis

Production

[edit]Family Matters was created and written by Kim Jung-min,[3] co directed by Kim Gok and Kim Sun, and produced by KeyEast, Ordinary Gem, Monster Union and Borderless Film.[4]
Casting
[edit]On October 5, 2023, it was reported by Star News that Bae Doona had been cast and confirmed to appear in the series.[5]
Filming
[edit]Principal photography began in late December 2023.[2]
Release
[edit]Family Matters is scheduled to premiere on Coupang Play on November 29, 2024, and will air every Friday at 20:00 (KST).[4]
